Seasonal Broiler Growth Performance Prediction Based on Observational Study

A procedure is presented for simulating thesequential impoundment process of concrete-faced rockfilldam using nonlinear finite element method. The parametersof constitutive relationship of stress and strain aredetermined by tri-dimensional compression test inlaboratory. The model applied in this study adopts thetechnique of element birth and death to simulate thesequential impoundment process of concrete-faced rockfilldam with time. Duncan and Chang's model is adoptedherein to define the non-linear stress-strain behaviour of therockfill materials and is used to simulate the prototypebehavior of various components of the dam in sequentialnonlinear analysis and some representative results arepresented.
